## What Is Aerius Alpha?

Aerius Alpha automates cryptocurrency trading using smart entry strategies. Instead of buying at fixed intervals, it uses configurable price-drop thresholds to accumulate positions at progressively lower prices, then sells when profit targets are met, optionally gated by momentum analysis on real candlestick data. It supports spot trading on Binance Spot and Coinbase Advanced Trade.

## How It Works

1. **Connect Exchange API**: Users create a spot trading API key for Binance Spot or Coinbase Advanced Trade and connect it to Aerius Alpha. All credentials are encrypted with AES-256-CBC.
2. **Configure a Bot**: Set the trading pair (e.g., BTC/USDT), initial trade amount, entry thresholds, take-profit targets, and optional candle analysis gates.
3. **Backtest**: Run the strategy against historical data to validate performance before risking real funds.
4. **Go Live**: Activate the bot for 24/7 automated trading with fast, lag-free live price monitoring.
5. **Monitor**: Track open trades, realized P&L, unrealized profit, and bot activity from the dashboard and Coin Tracker.
